FreeWorld's engineering team builds the world's most effective and affective tech to help folks with criminal records relaunch their lives. We are a small team of full stack developers and designers moving fast, building for scale, and working on the frontier of a growing movement of tech for social good.

We believe great tech should be invisible: it should meet people where they are, work on the first try, and treat dignity and emotion as core design requirements. Radiating "you matter" and "you are not alone" is as important to our UX as any functional job to be done.

We're aggressively AI-first, while fiercely concerned about bias, equity, and privacy if unleashed without guardrails. Internally, we build commercial-grade tools that let our program staff scale their care, insight, and lived experience. And when we find something that works, we share it–we share what doesn't work too!
